RESOLUTION TO ELIMINATE PUBLIC CITIZEN FROM COUNTY BOARD COMMITTEE

On the agenda for the February 27,2007 Winnebago County Board meeting is Resolution 158-22007, a resolution to amend the county board rules and take the public citizen member of the Information Systems Committee off the committee.

The basic reason is that the public citizen is no longer since the present knowledge of computers by Winnebago County Board members and County employees is such that this citizen member is no longer needed. Mind you this person was someone who works everyday with computers probably a IS person themselves, also this position is vacant at the moment.

If we remove this citizen member from this committee should not also the committee member from other county board committees be eliminated as well.

I willnot support this proposal. If you agree voice your opinion with your County Board Supervisor.

SHOULD THE CITIZEN MEMBER OF THE COUNTY INFORMATION SYSTEM COMMITTEE BE TAKEN OFF THE COMMITTEE
