MORE ON THE PREVIOUS POST ON THE WORK ZONE MEMORIAL WEEK

I apologize that the document that makes up the previous post is very hard to read.

The Winnebago County Highway Commission and tho Wisconsin Chapter of the American Traffic Safety Services Association will be hosting '" The National Work Zone Memorial all " from March 3-7,2008 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The wall is provided by the ATSSF (American Transportation Safety Services Foundation ).

An event to display a national memorial honoring those who have lost their lives in roadway work zones. Included on the memorial will be the names of of two Winnebago County Highway employees Marc Neumeyer and Daniel Melhorn ( March 7, 2006 Melhorn was a constituent of mine) who were fatally injured while on duty. This is the first time the memorial will be displayed in Wisconsin. It is our hope that it will serve to remind the public of the importance of abiding by the ;"MOVE OVER LAW" an he risks public employees encounter every day inhighway work zones.
